This piece came to be as an adaptation of a workflow developed for an earlier Blender series, DeVoids.
The idea behind this technique is, instead of trying to create an image that fits to the needs, to modify and distort the UV Mapping of a 3d model.
UV Maps are usually though of as a needed step in creating a 3d asset, where you must achieve minimal distortion and minimize area losses. This piece explores narrative possibilities by ressignifying the tool usage.
