MONSTRRRR (images are currently Work In Progress), is Daniel's on-again-off again project where he battles the eternal battle between maxamalism and wanting to throw everything in there, minimalism of stripping everything back and, and textures.

This is a process in all of my projects, adding three things, stripping out two, repeating until we get the final result. This is going to happen over the next three weeks (keep an eye on Twitter for updates), but the piles of notebooks has the end result pretty pinned down.

A long running exploration in the world of color mixing and hue-based blending, paired with my fascination for noise. I've decided to finally work this algorithm into a long-form artwork to celebrate the launch of fx(hash) 2.0.

“Leaves" was created in celebration of fxhash 2.0 and is seeking to evoke the sense of joy experienced when discovering a particularly striking leaf. 

Inspired by the diversity and simple beauty in the play of form and color of autumn leaves, the project aims to explore the balance between geometric shapes and their deformations: Leaves age, degenerate and catch deseases in higher iterations, revealing the paradoxical beauty of decay.
