“Everyone has their own shape.”
We meet shapes of all kinds in our life.

Algorithmic randomness generates shapes ever so slightly different yet similar.
I suppose these are someone’s collection.

“Why do they need to have so many similar things?”

Perhaps it’s their versatility in the pleasure they could bring.
Perhaps they’re meant for different occasions.
Perhaps some are left to search for their very own shapes.

Seeing this, I realized that when people explore themselves or others, it is also a form of shape study.
With what’s visible and concrete, explore the unseen and abstract.

However, good shapes only come by chance.
Shapes, in truth, cannot be good or bad in and of themselves. It’s only when two shapes come together that the meaning thereof arises.
I hope you who decide to pick up this work will find the shapes to your liking.

並且每個人一生中也會認識各種形狀

程式的隨機性讓我產生的每個形狀都相似而不同
我想像這也許是某個人的蒐藏
『為什麼會需要擁有這麼多相似的道具呢？』

也許是它們有著不同的功能，能帶來不同的愉悅；
也許是適用於不同的場景
也許是遲遲未找到屬於自己的形狀

想像至此，我意識到：當人們探索自己／他人的同時，也可以說是一種形狀研究
用一個看得見的具體，去探索一個看不見的抽象

然而，好的形狀是可遇不可求的
其實形狀本身沒有好壞，只有當兩個形狀相遇時，形狀才有了意義
希望蒐藏這件作品的各位都可以遇到喜歡的形狀
