Focal Point is a utility token, it grants holders exclusive access to the world of Shawn Kemp’s physical artwork. Created from code, generatively minted on fxhash, and transformed into artwork you can see, smell, and touch using layers of wood cut with a laser and finished with tinted shellacs.

Each token is unique and holds stored credit value that is used to request limited edition physical woodcuts created by Shawn Kemp. Each token has an initial value assigned at mint which ranges from 425 - 500 cubic inches. This credit is used to purchase physicals woodcuts.

Once the credit balance on a token is used up, the token can be converted into a final physical object that can be collected as a permanent momento.

Credits do not have a monetary value. Instead they are associated with the physical dimensions of the IRL woodcut. For example 425 cubic inches is approximately the size of a 12 layer 15x23 inch artwork such as Urban Inception Redux. Which in June of 2022 costs around $2.50 USD a cubic inch to purchase.
