This project is inspired by a familiar landscape.

It combines several things: a realistic dune landscape, minimalist ocean and sky, and a surrealist window at the centre.

The window deliberately presents a brighter ocean, where the sun is reflected, with waves and veils caught in the wind. It aims at representing what inspires us, what calms us, what makes us feel at home. This window extracts us from our daily thoughts and stress.


So I named this project "Évasion", a French word, which could be translated as "Escape" in English.


In this project, I decided that, even though each output will be unique and will have its own features, it will be possible, in live mode, to show/hide some elements of the project. This will allow each one of you to adapt the project to what is most relevant to you and save it.

This does not change the unique features of your mint, but you can adapt it to your preferences, to what "Évasion" means to you.



Consequently, in live mode, multiple options are available.

You can display the output with different pixel densities for a better resolution:

- press [2] to display a 2000 x 2000 pixels output (display by default)
- press [3] to display a 3000 x 3000 pixels output
- press [4] to display a 4000 x 4000 pixels output (may take a moment)


You can also toggle different elements of the output, even though these features are not part of your mint:

- press [d] to toggle the visibility of the dune
- press [v] to toggle the visibility of the veils
- press [t] to toggle the visibility of the sun texture
- press [w] to toggle the visibility of the window shadow
- press [a] to toggle the visibility of the sun rays
- press [r] to reload


To save the output as it is displayed:

- press [s] on a computer
- double tap on a mobile device


On the contrary, some elements cannot be changed, such as the color palette, the place of the window and sun, the appearence of the dune, the texture, the format, etc.

- Palette: 9 color palettes,
- Margin: Thin or Large,
- Texture: None, Soft or Strong,
- Format: 1:1, 4:5 - Portrait or 4:5 - Landscape,
- Veils: True or False,
- Rays: True or False,
- Sun Texture: True or False.
