Flow is a collection of animations based on noise fields and fluid dynamics. The pieces are designed to run continuously, and they produce slowly evolving images that seem to drip, swirl, pulse, and flow. Dense networks of patterns emerge and decay as the pieces evolve. Because of their subtle movement, these pieces make excellent wall art when run on a display monitor.

The algorithm is sensitive to canvas size and will animate differently depending on the size of the window in which it is running. Optimal viewing size is at a resolution of at least 1,000 x 1,000 pixels, while smaller animations will tend to flow faster, develop fewer eddies, and build more simplistic patterns. In this way, each iteration represents not just a single animation, but a large number of closely related animations that can be explored. To see the exact same animation, you must run it at the exact same size.
