6 TEZ7/88 minted
Project #24449
Interactive
This piece was inspired by the shapes and color arrangements of Bayeux by Jason Dartford. I wrote this code to render shapes from Bayeaux entirely in Javascript and p5js on a square canvas of tiles. Sometimes tiles are layered on top of one another; other times they stand alone. The connections between shapes of the same color and contrast of different ones leads to a striking effect that builds on the original.
Three of the palettes are my own, sampled from important photos for my own life. One is Jason’s original palette from Bayeux. The other three are from Studio Yorktown, Roni Kaufman, and meodai, who created the first generative NFT (Zürich Stations Grid II #195) that I minted on fxhash.
The palettes and tile counts are listed as features of the collection. The numbers of tiles are of different rarity, as are the palettes.
Interactive elements:
Press 'c' to toggle coloring page mode (no colors - just black lines).
Press ’s’ to save a PNG of the canvas.
