01. News
- Landlines interview
We crossed another big item off the bucket list this week with the recording and release of an interview with the elusive Landlines Art. Come for the excellent conversation around code-based art, stay for the...excellent conversation around code-based art.
- Art Basel Miami
The best week of the year to be in Florida is now, and what we wouldn't give to be in attendance at Art Basel Miami. In addition to a large representation from the Tezos foundation and an exhibit curated by lemonde2d, there is a live minting event!
- fx(anniversary) earnings statistics
Artist and community member (and now journalist) Jonas Bo did a deep dive on the anniversary mints, calculating who really got paid during the week(s). It's no surprise that flippers got the long end of that particular stick, making about four times that amount as charities. We could go on, but you can see the discrepancies in the spreadsheet yourself.
- Zancan open edition
Our hearts, minds, and interest continued to be capture by Zancan's open edition mint, Landscape with Carbon Capture. This topic took up a huge chunk of time on the podcast this week, but if you're listening and following along you already knew that ;*

02. Projects of the week
We both love this new entry from Mark Ludgate; it's a fresh, new, lush take on generative landscapes and the project is fully imbued with a style derived from the artist's background in animation.

Mediterranean creator kira0 is back at it again with another, different take on the cityscape.

- Freedom drops
This trio of projects released by Jinyao Lin, Yi-Wen Lin, and Alan Wuang are tribute to the ongoing protests in China. All speaking to themes of censorship and erasure, proceeds from the project go to FAB DAO, a Taiwanese non-profit that is heavily supported by generative artists.

- 0RAL B1NARY: "BINARY ODE"
We both loved and collected multiples of this multi-media piece by Sasha Stiles and Nathaniel Stern. The poetry, the performance, the beats...this project has it all and we fervently believe that it's poised to be (yet another) breakout work from this duo.
Also check out the (recently completed) auction on Christies.

03. Shoutouts
- Textura
Will managed to snag Textura #1! A ton of nice textures and lines in this atypical (for them) project from r1b2.

- 8 Minutes Early
This smaller-run project from petitsapin leverages pleasing colors and textures to create organic shapes on a textured background.

- Maps
Friend of the podcast revdancatt airdropped this beautiful piece to holders of Concord, thus completing the plottable trilogy.

- Knockout
Chris McCully has been on an absolute tear with his recent shader projects. He has been releasing on the platform for just over a year and it has been so much fun to see his growth as a coder and artist.
