Laying in Bed, Flicking through my Collection, My Wife watching Throw Mamma from the Train, A Classic by anyone's standards...the night was Hot...The night was Humid..Criss Cross... Anyways, I've just spent the Whole of Sunday Afternoon Screeding a Floor, and whilst doing so Listened to Collectors Corner's Snowfro Interview. Like many, I've been a bit down on Collecting of Late, The Low Price of Tez, Low Floors on many Projects that I bought in High, My Bank Witholding my Exchange Payments for 24hrs ? I've also been doing a bit of collecting elsewhere, Sold a few Bits and Pieces to scrape enough Eth together to Buy a John Gerard 'World Flag'...what a grind , 2 Weeks of Plotting and Planning . I pulled together 0.31 eth for the Mint... Unfortunately the Flippers took the majority at 0.34...I was pissed...Jumped straight on to Opensea checked the price... Accepted an offer on a Friendship Bracelet, Wrapped up my Eth, Threw out a Collection Offer and got it Accepted straight away at 0.45, all at 4 in the Morning...Jeez, what a palaver!! I am so happy to get a piece of the Collection, It's well thought out and well Executed. It's the most expensive Piece I've bought, but will be something I'll keep for a very long time. On the Down side the Flippers managed to wreak havoc with it, it was Disappointing to see and I felt really Bad for the Artist , who had put so much time and Effort into the Project. This brings me back to the Snowfro Interview in a round about way...The general feeling of many within the Web3, Crypto and Art Space was discussed, and as we all know there is low sentiment amongst many, people are moving on and cashing out...but a really Positive outlook was shown by all involved. There is a great deal to be Positive about , Looking through my Kukai Wallet , Revisiting Tokens I haven't Looked at for a while, I was Reminded of why I Collect, the Talent, Skill and Imagination of Artists.
