MONSTRRRR (images are currently Work In Progress), is Daniel's on-again-off again project where he battles the eternal battle between maxamalism and wanting to throw everything in there, minimalism of stripping everything back and, and textures.

This is a process in all of my projects, adding three things, stripping out two, repeating until we get the final result. This is going to happen over the next three weeks (keep an eye on Twitter for updates), but the piles of notebooks has the end result pretty pinned down.

MONSTRRRR is my chance to let rip a little.

💾 HYPER DELTAS ∆ GEN1 is a unique generative collection that reimagines the classic high-density floppy disk as vibrant, humanized characters. 

Each of the 1,440 possible Hyper Deltas embodies the spirit of retro technology while embracing a modern digital art aesthetic, evolving as an intricate catalogue of visualisations.

There are no facts, maps, promises, or guarantees—just a generative catalogue of humanized visualizations in 3D/augmented reality.

A long running exploration in the world of color mixing and hue-based blending, paired with my fascination for noise. I've decided to finally work this algorithm into a long-form artwork to celebrate the launch of fx(hash) 2.0.

This explores the modern retro, in the complex digitally-led world of today.
Taking the simple pixel imagary from video games of the 70s and 80s and using the core patterns to create something new and relevant to our overwhelming digital overload.

The original games used cell film to colour the graphics and this work takes that approach and uses layers of pattern and colour to create new dense worlds.
The modern graphical representation of the invaders as street art style graffiti, breaking through the digital detritus. 

Early WIP is shown here as I transition this to a refined layout and pallet selection throughout the rest of the year.
